Gingerbread houses, tree trimming...

So, I know this is a mess of photos...but hey...my time is limited these days. We had our annual gingerbread house building last week. B and H invited us over for theirs this week and we couldn't turn them down. So, the first mess of photos at the top are from our home...down below is at B & H's. There you will see Ben's awesome creation. He always comes up with something...well...random. This year it was an outhouse, complete with moon on the door, a man outside looking back at the "gift" he left for the next person in line. (made w/a tootsie roll) I love that man.
I myself, created a camping scene complete with sour patch campers tucked into frosting sleeping bags.
This was after I had one of my randomly occuring laugh attacks. During which I cry off all my eye makeup. It scares the family sometimes...but hey...it's a great ab workout.
We picked up a beautiful tree at a lot down the street. We had a wonderful trimming it and eating home made cinnamon rolls and hot cocoa afterward.
Tomorrow I will be posting photos of the latest (and last) boutique for this year. Fun stuff.
PS...if you look close you can see the before and after of Ladybug's haircut. Bye, bye mullet!

Laydbug showing pride in her decapitation
of gingy ... poor guy.

Ah yes, trust me... you do want an up close of this one.

I love the glow in those christmas tree pictures. It was fun to make houses together.

I am so excited to see a new post! Your houses look great. We made gingerbread houses at our Groethe Christmas party. The kids each made their own. The adults had a competition between the men and the women. The women dominated!!! Hopefully, I can get the pics from Travis' dad to post on my blog. I hope we get to see you soon!

I'm glad to see a new post! The tree looked beautiful with the lights glowing like that. It's been years since I have made ginger bread houses. Maybe I'll do that this week with the kids home from school.
