School's out for the summer!

I thought it would be fun to post a photo of the first day of school and the last day of school - just to see how much the kids have changed. The first thing I notice is Buddy's pudgy face on the first day!! He's gotten taller and thinned out. Lil' Lin actually grew too!

Tonight we were out front and Lady bug darted out to the gutter and started running up the little stream. We were curious why there was so much water... it had been raining, but not enough to make this type of river. She was so giddy. So, of course the other kids had to join in too. Ben went up stream to find out where the water source was and the kids trailed behind him. He came back and told us that the neighbors were draining their indoor pool. Lady bug's bloomers were loose to begin with... so this made for an interesting sight. She tried to pull them up and hold them so she could waddle through the water. Definitely a kodak moment.
